Relief cheques given to disaster victims : The Tribune India

UNA, SEPTEMBER 17

Chairman of the State Finance Commission Satpal Singh Satti today distributed relief cheques amounting to Rs 9 lakhs to 12 victims of natural disasters at the Zila Parishad hall.

Speaking on the occasion, Satti said the state government was undertaking an integrated development in all fields, in all parts of the state, while also providing relief to the victims of natural disaster, the underprivileged and weaker sections. He said the Jai Ran Thakur government was committed to the welfare of all categories of people.

Satti said the BJP workers were propagating and linking various welfare and developmental schemes of all departments among the masses. Calling the Opposition as a leaderless lot, who had no issues against the government, he blamed the Congressmen for being unparliamentary, both in the Assembly and among the public.
