Salvation Army to begin monthly food distribution

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. — The Salvation Army in Terre Haute is now offering a new monthly food distribution for Vigo County residents.

The distribution will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month for up to 75 households on a first come basis. One household will be served per vehicle. Picture ID and proof of residency will be required.

Recipes will be provided for the food items given out

The Salvation Army food pantry is also available from 1 to 2 p.m. each Thursday. Any eligible resident from Vigo County may receive food from the pantry once a month. Residents who participate in the monthly distribution are still eligible to receive food from the pantry one Thursday a month.
