NATCHITOCHES, La. – The point of distribution center at Natchitoches Central has been changed to Lakeview High School as to make it more accessible to a wider area.
The Natchitoches Office of Emergency Preparedness has received word that the Point of Distribution Location for distribution of water, ice and meals ready to eat (MRE’S) for Natchitoches Central has been changed to only one site, Lakeview High School on La. Hwy 9 north of Campti, La.
The Louisiana National Guard changed the location to better assist the tremendous amount of support needed in the area and across the state in the wake Hurricane Laura.
The location at Lakeview High School is currently open and ready to serve the community.
