‘High rise’ distribution center in pulled from Brownsburg planners’ agenda – WISH-TV | Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather

BROWSNBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A large frozen-food distribution facility won’t be built in Brownsburg after all.

The town has pulled the plans for Project Aisle. The building could have been up to 160 feet tall, according to documents filed on the project.

It had been slated for property along Ronald Reagan Parkway and Hendricks County Road 400 North.

People against the plan say it would have increased traffic, made the area too noisy, and cut property values.

The Brownsburg Advisory Plan Commission was scheduled to discuss the project on Monday, but it has been pulled from the agenda.
