The Salvation Army of Emporia has its latest commodity distribution event Wednesday afternoon.
Food boxes will be available from 1:30 to 3:30 pm or until supplies are gone.
Pickup will be at the Salvation Army Annex, 209 West Fourth. Vehicles need to line up in front of the building facing east. Boxes will not be taken to westbound traffic or across the street. People walking to the Annex need to use 6-foot social distancing.
Proof of income is not required, but the family’s name and number of people in the household is. Call the Salvation Army at 342-3093 with questions.
