Whip Media Group’s companies – including Mediamorph, TV Time and The TVDB – are said to offer a data-driven content value management platform that empowers entertainment companies to acquire, distribute and monetise content intelligently.

Through its partnership programme, The Whip Media Group aims to provide media companies with better transparency into their global content workflows to maximise revenues, reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and gain complete real-time visibility and control over where and how television and movie titles are being distributed.

The strategic supply chain partnership is built on the premise that both buyers and sellers of content need to effortlessly put their content everywhere it needs to be. The company adds that with the onset of the streaming wars and the unprecedented pace of content consumption, building a frictionless distribution ecosystem must take priority.

GrayMeta was said to have been selected as a strategic supply chain partner based on its platforms that enable content owners to digitise, quality check, search and extract value from their digital assets while delivering media workflow efficiencies.

GrayMeta will now integrate with Whip Media Group’s content value management (CVM) platform. The CVM cloud-based open API-driven architecture will enable media companies and MVPD operators to add content delivery vendors and establish and drive a digitally-driven supply chain that both companies say will remove distribution friction and simplify the process of managing multiple vendors while delivering workflow transparency and monitoring.

GrayMeta is well known within the industry as innovators in leveraging the power of machine learning and AI to search and extract value from content,” commented Alisa Joseph, SVP business strategy and development, Whip Media Group. “We are excited to welcome GrayMeta onboard as a partner.”

Josh Wiggins, president, GrayMeta, added: “We are excited to be joining forces with Whip Media. Our partnership enables content owners to have the data insight and the tools to find new ways to monetise assets, ensure content integrity, and deliver workflow efficiencies.”
