CargoBooking to launch new global digital air cargo booking platform

CargoBooking, a global digital air cargo booking platform providing real time capacities and rates for airlines, will be launched worldwide on August 1, 2020.

As the world goes through unprecedented times due to the Covid-19 crisis, digital tools to make lives easier and more efficient are more important than ever. This new online tool brings efficiencies, within several minutes, the quotation can be approved without sending emails. The API integration with the airline and forwarder IT systems reduces the lead time for quoting and booking confirmation, making air logistics seamless.

The platform has been created by full cargo management software specialists and professionals who understand the requirements of the freight forwarders and airlines. CargoBooking offers over 92 percent of all worldwide scheduled flights for wide body, narrow body and freighter operators. Participant airlines can upload rates and schedules, and a tailor-made system is offered to manage specific contract rates and allocations for their customers.

Verified freight forwarders can use the platform, which can be integrated with their own systems, for instant quotes and bookings. The system consolidates all possible flight/truck options with personalised customer rates and spot rate requesting.
