Indirect Procurement Specialist – Global Banking – Milton Keynes – £47k – Global Sourcing Exposure – Fast-Track Progression Opportunities

Due to a large global expansion and unrivalled success, this global banking major is looking to take on an ambitious procurement specialist to join their indirect function, managing spend across a variety of categories and business units. The successful procurement professional will join a thriving team in a driven financial services environment and tasked with driving continuous improvement through effective sourcing methods whilst focusing on development to a management position.

The successful Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Managing large spends across various indirect categories, including but not limited to HR, IT, Marketing, Professional Services and Travel
  • Prepare tender documentations and lead RRI and RFP’s whilst liaising with customers and bidders as required
  • Managing the full end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing new suppliers through to long-term SRM
  • Implementing strategic sourcing strategies in order to maximise cost optimization

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience within indirect procurement, across any/all categories
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and analytical skills
  • Ideally Degree and/or CIPS qualified
