Florida man arrested for exposing himself at Burlington Coat Factory

Most confrontations in stores happen these days are related to people not wearing masks or social distancing.

But one Florida man is being accused of something that has nothing to do with coronavirus guidelines, WFLA reported.

Derek Hardison was arrested Wednesday after he was caught walking around a Burlington Coat Factory in Largo with his genitals exposed, according to a report from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

An 11-year-old child saw the suspect in the toy section, and reported it to a parent, the complaint said.

Surveillance video backed up the child’s story, the report said.

Hardison, 37, was charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition, a felony.

The St. Petersburg resident was released on $10,000 surety bond, according to court records.
