Staging a protest against Centre’s crop procurement policies, group of farmers in Rajasthan took to streets, marching towards Delhi from Dudu. The farmers under the banner of Kisan Mahapanchayat are demanding that the government purchase 40% of their produce at Minimum Support Price (MSP).Kisan Mahapanchayat’s Rampal Jaat stated that, “Centre has procured only 6 lakh tonnes of Chana out of total 26.75 lakh tonnes. This is against slogan of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
