Man’s foot trapped in distribution centre incident

A MAN was injured in an incident at a North Yorkshire distribution centre in the early hours of this morning.

The 45-year-old man’s foot was trapped in a lorry tail lift at the warehouse complex in Sherburn-in-Elmet.

Fire crews from Tadcaster and Selby released him by cutting the machinery away from him.

He was then taken to hospital by ambulance. His current condition is unknown.

The incident happened shortly after 4am.

Several companies have distribution centres at Sherburn-in-Elmet.
