Island Roasted has taken another step to support the sustainable journey of its coffee and tea products.
The company is improving its approach to local and regional distribution by investing in a leased Renault Kangoo ZE Business Van from Island-based EV Express. Island Roasted are also the first leasing customer for EV Express.
Dan Burgess from Island Roasted explains the thinking:
“We are very proud of our focus on sustainability and looking after our environment. We saw It as important to improve on how we distribute and deliver our quality coffee and tea products, so moving to a suitable electric van was high on our priority list.”
Paul Thorley from EV Express adds:
“We were able to supply Dan with a Renault Kangoo electric van to test drive. With a true 125-mile range for £4 cost in electricity, and costing only £200 per month to lease, Dan was impressed with the value for money.”
EV Express were able to order and secure delivery promptly. Unfortunately, COVID-19 stopped delivery of the van to the Island for a few months, but this week the team at Island Roasted celebrated its proper arrival.
