Fiji FA to provide $68,000 worth of groceries and monetary funding to affected soccer players

The Fiji Football Association will be distributing $68,000 worth of groceries and will also be providing monetary funding to soccer players that have lost income during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Fiji FA had earlier stated that they have received 400 applications for assistance from players and officials during their COVID-19 and Tropical Cyclone Harold Survey.

President, Rajesh Patel also confirms that the Fiji FA will start “Football for Humanity Foundation” which is a program to look after the players in times of natural disasters.
