Downtown Los Angeles textile warehouse burns

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A downtown Los Angeles commercial building densely packed with rolled textiles burned for more than 90 minutes early Tuesday.

More than 100 firefighters battled flames deeply seated in rolls stacked up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) high, a Fire Department statement said.

No injuries were reported, and the fire’s cause remained under investigation.

It was the second major fire downtown in four days.

A dozen firefighters were injured Saturday when a huge explosion rocked a vape and marijuana accessories wholesaler where a fire had broken out. As of Monday, four of the firefighters remained hospitalized.
