Due to an innovative new product launch, this blue-chip pharmaceutical major is seeking an ambitious Procurement/Sourcing professional to drive efficiencies across their expanding product portfolio. Entering a newly-created area of the business, the successful individual will partner with global executives to create a dynamic supply chain function by identifying and implementing innovative new processes. Joining the business during an unprecedented period of growth, this position has a clear path into a senior leadership position in the organisation at an accelerated rate.

Global Sourcing Analyst Job Profile:

  • Partnering with global stakeholders to determine the strategy for new product ranges and expanding the firm’s global reach
  • Working on a 30,000+ product portfolio, defining how to maximise profitability/value from each product sourced
  • Liaising with various areas of the business including procurement, supply chain, sourcing, legal, finance and operations
  • Managing external relationships with Suppliers and Clients to ensure the consistent development of new products

Analyst, Supply Chain Innovation requirements:

  • Strong Analytical background with a proven track record of managing large sets of data and creating reports for the development of a commercial function
  • Management consulting experience a benefit but not essential
  • Strong numerate skills, including experience working with Excel and data analytics tools
  • Good academics with strong numerical skills
  • Energetic, proactive personality and keen to develop a career with a global business
  • Keen to learn, take on responsibility and progress quickly
