Software ‘energises’ renewables procurement in Europe – reNews

Energy software start-up LevelTen has launched its first request for proposals (RfP) in Europe for clean power.

The company issued the RfP on behalf of a “large corporate purchaser” of renewable energy, seeking to secure a “significant volume” of clean electricity across Europe and the Nordic regions.

Bids are due on 24 April 2020.

LevelTen said bidders must submit responses through its online platform, and is taking requests regarding access from interested parties.

In October 2019 the start-up expanded its renewable energy procurement platform to Europe.

The company designed its RfP automation software specifically for the renewables market and said the platform “eliminates hours of tedious data analysis and spreadsheet management”.

The platform provides a comprehensive view of the “best projects” in the market, and access to “real-time pricing and analytics”, to enable RfPs to be closed in weeks, as opposed to months, according to LevelTen.
