Our Correspondent

Itanagar: The Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industries (ACCI) has issued directives to all the wholesalers and distributors in the state not to resort to hoarding or inflate prices under any circumstances.

The traders’ body in a statement here on Wednesday informed that it would initiate strict action in conjunction with the district administration concerned, against those who indulge in such activities.

The ACCI also requested the State government to strictly enforce the lockdown, so that the scenes witnessed in the twin capital on Tuesday are dissuaded. The availability of personal protective equipment in the markets, complaints regarding the inflation of rates of commodities and the preparedness of the state in the face of Covid-19 were discussed by the members of the ACCI during a meeting here on Tuesday, the statement added.
