31 wholesalers fined in city

A Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) mobile court fined businessmen Tk 3.075 million at Jatrabari’s wholesale market for selling onion and potato at higher prices on Saturday, reports UNB.

Five traders were also given various prison terms. RAB’s executive magistrate Sarwar Alam, along with the RAB-2 deputy commanding officer, conducted the drive at Boro Bazar of Jatrabari from 4:00am to 2:30pm on Saturday.
