Seafood wholesalers George Costi and his wife Andrea have emerged as the new owner of a high-end waterfront home on the Parramatta River.
Updated property records show the Costis made a play on a five-bedroom mansion in Hunters Hill.
The Costis who are known for the De Costi seafood business paid $4.2 million and came after the property failed to sell at auction in late December.

The waterfront home appears to be the perfect address for a seafood wholesaler to drop a line, with the property featuring a private jetty and pontoon.
However, insiders suggest that the property purchased under the company name “Rasin Holdings” is purely for investment purposes.
The couple also own one of Hunters Hill’s finest estate, a historic 24-room mansion named Lynhurst on 3106sqm. The home with a swimming pool and tennis court has been under the family ownership after paying $710,000 in 1986.
Their new investment property on Euthella Ave has 278sqm of internal space across two levels.
It has a double garage, wrap around verandas, multiple living rooms and a main bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe.
Other features include ducted airconditioning, a fireplace, timber and carpet floors and established gardens.
The house was sold to the Costis by McGrath Hunter Hill’s Tracey Dixon.
The Costi’s business De Costi, commenced operations in 1974 as a weekend store at Paddys Market. Today the business has several retail stores across Sydney.
