Hamilton Caster has broken ground on a $6.5 million plant expansion next to its current facility in Hamilton, Ohio. The 65,000-sq.-ft. facility will expand the company’s manufacturing and office space footprint and serve as the new corporate headquarters.

The building will include a new material handling system, fiber lasers, robotic welders, CNC machines, and a powder paint system. “It will improve our production flow and dramatically increase the velocity of our value stream,” said Mark Lippert, vice president of marketing.

The facility is scheduled to open in October 2020.
