FL Manufacturer May Close Due To Coronavirus Related Supply Chain Interruption

Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- A Florida manufacturer may close down due to a coronavirus-related interruption in the supply chain.

On Thursday, company management at Danfoss Turbocor Processors in Tallahassee advised all employees of the possibility of a shut down.  The heating and ventilation equipment maker depends entirely on a supply of specialty parts made at a site near Wuhan, China.  WCTV reports that in an interview on Friday, Danfoss president Ricardo Schneider says they will run out of critical components by the end of this month.

Over 200-employees would feel the impact of the closure.
