In jeans, red and white Nikes, a blue cap and a hoodie that read “I’m Not Hollywood I’m Brooklyn,” Wayans gave off a mellow air of comfortability as she worked, strolling back and forth on the stage and interjecting crowd work at various intervals to either segue into a new topic or to build off of bits that hit their mark (and a few that didn’t). Crucially, Wayans performs with a relaxed demeanor that helps propel her through any rough patches and smoothly regain solid ground.
