Hellyer named chief supply chain officer at Serta Simmons Bedding

ATLANTA – Bedding veteran Bob Hellyer has joined Serta Simmons Bedding on a full-time basis as the company’s chief supply chain officer. He had been working at SSB on an interim basis.

In his new role, Hellyer is responsible for leading the operations organization and collaborating closely with SSB’s marketing and sales teams to deliver high-quality products to SSB customers, officials said.

Hellyer has served as a consultant to SSB since early 2019.

“Bob’s extensive knowledge of our industry and Serta Simmons Bedding’s business is truly unmatched,” said David Swift, chairman and CEO of Serta Simmons Bedding. “Over the past year, he has done a tremendous job of helping us drive a number of supply chain efforts aimed at putting our consumers and retail partners first. We are lucky to have him as an ‘official’ part of the team.”
