Schuisdziara joins Hansa Meyer as managing director

Hansa Meyer Global Transport has appointed Jan-Dirk Schuisdziara as managing director.

He joins the Germany-headquartered freight forwarder from Kuehne + Nagel, where he served as senior vice president global projects. His experience also includes roles at Agility, Geodis, deugro and Panalpina.

Schuisdziara will be tasked with developing Hansa Meyer’s network in the Americas, Middle East and Africa.

Henrique Wohltmann, also managing director – a role he has held since 2014 – will continue to oversee the company’s operations in Central, South and East Asia as well as in Europe.

The appointment follows recent expansion for Hansa Meyer, which opened branches in Azerbaijan and Myanmar.
