Ecommerce Startup Zeew Raises $630K In Seed Funding

Zeew, an Egypt-based SaaS firm in e-commerce, has raised $630,000 in a Seed round from Plug and Play, Poland Prize, and a collection of angel investors, bringing its total funding raised over the past two years to $1 million.

At present, Zeew has merchants in 100 different countries who operate in a variety of verticals, such as logistics, food & grocery, dining, retail, and pharmacy.

The firm intends to expand its workforce in order to service more consumers globally utilising the recently acquired funds.

The enterprise software as a service (SaaS) industry is one of the emerging stars of the Egyptian startup ecosystem, with more companies ramping up and piquing investor interest.
