In recent years, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives have come to the forefront of corporate considerations. The Federal government itself has begun to focus more on ESG policy, especially with respect to environmental sustainability, as reflected in the Biden Administration’s recent Executive Orders (EOs), open Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) cases, and several recent agency requests for information. The government is focused on driving sustainability through the power of procurement.
