Under the leadership of Bokaro Steel Plant Director-in-Charge Amarendu Prakash and lead by Executive Director (Works) BK Tiwari and Chief General Manager (Sinter Plant) BK Behera, the Sinter Plant Department made a new record of making Gross Sinter in the month of July. The workers of the sinter plant with their collective efforts have created a new monthly record by producing the best ever gross sinter of 5,64,088 tonnes in the month of July-22. Earlier in March-2022, 5,63,971 tonnes of gross sinter was produced. In this excellent performance of the Sinter Plant Department, all the supporting departments like Coke Oven & BPP, Raw Material, RM & MHP, Blast Furnace, Quality, Traffic, Mechanical, Electrical, EMD, Utility, C&A, Material Management and other departments also contributed significantly.
