Medical supply company opens regional distribution center | Local Business

Global medical supply manufacturer Medline opened a $74 million, 800,000-square-foot distribution center in St. Peters to support the firm’s growing customer base in the Midwest.

The new facility, at 5000 Premier Parkway, is expected to create more than 150 jobs and generate more than $1.6 million in taxes for state and local taxing bodies.

The Chicago-based company is the largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies in the United States. The company operates more than 20 manufacturing sites and over 50 distribution centers in North America, and distributes 300,000 unique medical products.
