‘Chemical accident’ at factory leads to massive fireball

Part of northeast Spain is under a chemical emergency alert after part of a factory exploded.

Video posted to social media shows an enormous pillar of fire and smoke billowing from the source of the explosion. Emergency services in the region called the fire a “chemical accident,” according to the Independent.

At least three people were wounded in the blast and have been rescued, although their condition is not yet known. The country is warning residents to stay indoors and keep their windows shut, although there is “no evidence of a toxic cloud.”
