FM Global releases enhanced 2022 resilience index
FM Global’s resilience index has now been released and this year includes 15 economic, risk quality and supply chain measures. The interactive tools enable decision makers to compare objective data about 130 countries and territories.
The two newest index measurements added to the index in 2022 are climate risk and ESG-related enhancements, which SpendMatters has insights on as well, which can be found here.
FM Global’s index reflects threats like severe flooding and wind storms for the climate risk, and climate risk quality through building codes, code enforcement and facilities improvements. Additionally, the 2022 resilience index includes health expenditure and supply chain timeliness to reflect the challenges faced by businesses in 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
