The ribbon is cut at Made in TN in The Factory at Franklin.

Made in TN celebrated the grand reopening inside The Factory at Franklin with a ribbon-cutting celebration June 14.

The business, founded by Ilex and Sarah Pounders, has two locations, with the other retail store at the L&L Market in Nashville. It first opened in The Factory on Black Friday in 2017.

The expansion and new location next to Liberty Hall at The Factory has allowed the store to carry a larger selection.

Although the Pounderses could not be at the celebration, Sarah Pounders issued a statement.

“We have loved growing in this community of Franklin, and the people here are so supportive of what we do, and we could not be more excited to expand the footprint of our store here to a larger space and offer even more local goods,” she said.

Made in TN is expanding along with the renovation plans for The Factory at Franklin. The new storefront has allowed the business to triple in size from 325 square feet to almost 1,000.

Products sold at the store include apparel, locally made bath products, snacks, greeting cards, souvenirs and more.

Jenny Webb, director of retail operations for Made in TN, greeted the attendees at the ribbon cutting and shared information on the build-your-own gift boxes available for pick up.

Made in TN is in Suite 12 E at The Factory at Franklin. Visit www.shopmadeintn.com to learn more.
