Freight forwarder Europa Air & Sea will continue its recent expansion with the opening of an office in the UAE.

The company said that the new office will open in Dubai later this year and follows on from the addition of an office in Shanghai at the start of 2022.

Europa is hoping the new facility will benefit from growing e-commerce demand. It added that the UAE freight and logistics market is estimated to be growing at a compound annual growth rate of 5% between 2021 and 2027.

Angus Hind, Europa Air & Sea director, said: “This is another significant step for Europa Air & Sea. With the UAE seen as the fastest growing e-commerce market in the Middle-East and North Africa, it is a market with huge potential.

“In recent years, the UAE logistics sector continues outperform many others, and is seen as an important part of the country’s economic diversification.”

The new office will be headed by Nathan Lynn, who previously worked for Europa’s road business for seven years.
