The team of SMS-New of Bokaro Steel Plant under the leadership of Director-in-Charge BSL Amarendu Prakash and under the guidance of Chief General Manager (SMS-1) Arvind Kumar has created a new record of 26 heat castings in a single sequence. Earlier, the team of SMS-New had created a record by casting 24 heats in a single sequence. Team SMS-New has achieved this feat through better time management and co-ordination with all concerned departments. It is noteworthy that SMS-New had commissioned the caster on April 13 last year in a record 74 days only. After commissioning, there is a continuous process of better production from SMS-New. Senior officials have congratulated all the concerned departments on this achievement of Team SMS-New.
Also After renovation of the forklift in OG & CBRS department of BSL, commissioning was done by VK Pandey, Executive Director (Materials Management). On this occasion Executive Director (Personnel and Administration) Sanjay Kumar, CGM (Maintenance) S. Mukhopadhyay, CGM (Material Management) Anil Kumar, CGM (Mechanical) VK Singh along with Central Mechanical Maintenance and Material Management Department officers and personnel were present. Manager (OG & CBRS) Prashant Kishore, MTT (OG & CBRS) Sachin Garg and other officers and personnel contributed significantly in completing this task with all internal resources
