Willie and Shantoya Ward are both Norfolk, Virginia natives- but they just recently moved back to the 757 after living in different areas all over the country!
They really wanted a home with intentional design. They used the old bones of an existing home, and modernized the design inside to fit their lifestyle needs! The home was a beautiful 1907 Victorian style home.
Currently they have a house full of relatives, as well as themselves and their son- plus a baby on the way!
When the Ward family renovated the home, some of the spaces they changed were made into closets! Even their master bedroom closet did not exist prior to the renovation.
Shantoya found Closet Factory during a Google search and submitted an inquiry. She set up a meeting with Carol Carruth, one of Closet Factory’s senior designers.
Willie’s initial reaction to Carol was “wow! She knows what she’s doing!” Her expertise and the ability to bring the showroom to them helped to seal the deal.
Shantoya’s favorite before and after is by far her master bedroom closet. It features a built in ironing board, jewelry drawers, valets and also a built-in safe!
