Dave Lodwig, 58, of Springtown passed away on Tuesday May 24th, 2022. He entered the world on the night the Beatles debuted in America, Feb 9th, 1964. Dave was born the son of Karen Lodwig and the late Richard Lodwig. He graduated from Central Bucks East High School, attended Lebanon Valley College where he played football, and graduated from Moravian College. He began his illustrious sales career at his family business and went on to succeed at multiple sales engineer and managerial positions in the world of material handling. He worked most recently at Conveyco Technologies in Bristol, CT with peers whom he loved and respected. He prided himself on his family and could always be found cheering the loudest at his kids’ sporting events. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, master of barbeque, two-time winner of the Woodbyne cookoff (ribs and chili), five-time-all-pro-first-ballot-Hall-of-Fame Turkey Bowl lineman, PIAA referee, avid woodworker, member of Material Handling Society of NJ, and brother of Kappa Lambda Sigma fraternity.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind but will always be with his wife of 27 years, Jeannine Scaliti Lodwig. Also, his two brothers Richard Lodwig (Judy) of Holland, PA, Christopher of Perkasie, PA, and his many nieces and nephews. His children Annie Grace, Patrick, Owen, and Molly all of Springtown will carry on his legacy of love.
Please help us celebrate this legacy at 11a.m. on Tuesday, May 31st at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 345 Elmwood Ln. Riegelsville, PA 18077. Visitation will be held from 10:30 -11 a.m. in the church. Burial to follow at Riegelsville Union Cemetery. In the words of Dave, “all are welcome.”
