Graduation Is Chaotic This Season. Blame the Supply Chain. 

A chartered jet arrived on the tarmac at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport in the early-morning hours last Friday, packed with precious cargo. The goods were unloaded quickly, then driven to their final destination. There was no time to waste. 

Inside were a dozen boxes of gowns, tassels, hoods and other graduation regalia, arriving just hours before a Rice University ceremony was set to begin.
