Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory lands at top of national magazine’s best factory tours list

As tourism returns to downtown Louisville after two years of the pandemic, one attraction just got a bump from a nationwide magazine. Good Housekeeping Magazine released their list of the top 25 factory tours in the United States, and the Derby City’s own Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory landed on top.”Swing by to see how baseball bats are made — this company has been churning them out since 1884,” the magazine said about the museum and factory. “Your family can walk through the factory production line and watch the wood chips fly!”Other popular tours landing high on the list that the Louisville Slugger Factory beat out included the Jelly Belly factory in California, the PEZ factory in Connecticut, the Henry Ford Rouge factory tour in Dearborn, Michigan and the World of Coca-Cola tour in Atlanta.
