STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Ship action viewable from Richmond Terrace can stop vehicular traffic — literally — as it did on Tuesday as massive cargo ship CMA-CGM APOLLON squeezed its way through the Kill van Kull trailed by three tug boats.

That New York City scene could pique the interest of entrepreneurs who envision these maritime phenomenons as the entertainment from a dining room perch.
