Hyderabad: G Kishan Reddy, Union minister of tourism, on Sunday reiterated that the TRS government is making paddy procurement a big issue only because of the TRS’ defeat in the Huzurabad by-election. He stated that there is no demand for parboiled rice consumption in the country and that the Centre cannot even export the rice to other countries due to agreement with World Trade Organization ( WTO). tnn
