Man Charged With Operating A Drug Factory In New Milford: Police

NEW MILFORD, CT — A man has been charged with operating a drug factory in New Milford, according to police. Police executed a search warrant for 2A Bennitt St. on Wednesday.

The search was “the culmination of a lengthy investigation involving the distribution of narcotics in the greater New Milford area,” according to police.

Police seized 2.1 lbs. of marijuana, 66.8 grams of cocaine, numerous Percocet pills, and drug packaging materials.

Felix Rios, 39, was charged with operation of a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell non-narcotic substance, and possession with intent to sell narcotic substance.

Rios was later released after posting a $100,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Torrington Superior Court on March 31.
