Are Folding Containers the Supply Chain Solution?

Corryn La Rue

Supply chain obstacles and shipping bottlenecks have farmers and ranchers in a chokehold as agriculture products rot waiting for shipment… while empty containers clog the line ahead of them. One company says it has a solution to unclog ports and reduce their carbon footprint.

Staxxon CEO George Kochanowski says their containers fold up… meaning you could fit five in the place of one.

“If the agriculture industry had their own containers, they could ship them to Asia, bundle them, and be able to ship them back empty for themselves… at a half, or third, or a quarter of the price.”

Staxxon CFO Richard Danderline says the industry has been slow moving on improvements.

“…the box that exists today is vitually the same box they started out with 60 plus years ago.”
