MISSION: To make our corporate sourcing and purchasing process efficient, scalable, and cross-functional.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Purchase goods, services, and software in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets within stakeholder budgets and business requirements
  • Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers and provide recommendations to the business and stakeholders, evaluating opportunities for cost reduction, where possible
  • Report savings/business impact results internally
  • Support the development of innovative procurement processes
  • Negotiate to improve pricing and payment terms with suppliers
  • Manage new vendor set up and coding, and assist in on-boarding and off-boarding of vendors
  • Support/prepare RFx documentation for any new services required for the business and liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Prepare purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements
  • Audit actuals to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
  • Assist in developing standards for new software or services outsourced, maintains comprehensive descriptions of available software, and services
  • Evaluate Implementation and Sourcing Risks and report to stakeholders
  • Work with stakeholders and FP&A to accurately align on true costs based on business requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management or purchasing experience with a background in implementation
  • Process rigor related to RFI, RFQ, and RFP management preferred
  • Supply Chain certification(s) a plus
  • Manages change, ambiguity, complexity, and drives for optimum results
  • Sound quantitative and analytical skills are required with acute attention to detail
  • Able to communicate effectively using clear and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Experience with ERP systems a plus
  • Self-confident with an ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner
