LITTLETON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Adding to the growing list of supply chain issues, promenade accessories may have slowed deliveries for the coming months.
Littleton’s Amari Prom shop said students bound for prom should think about getting their dresses sooner rather than later. Amari Prom was closed for the last year and a half because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the demand surging for 2022, the shop has opened back up for the season.
Williams said that because of supply chain problems, shoe shipments have been running slow.
“I have a thousand dresses and eleven shoes,” Williams said.
But that does not mean that the in-store dress stock is lacking, said Amari Prom’s Owner Kate Williams.
“We do have a little bit of supply issues with getting all the sizes and colors that girls have wanted this season, but the designers have made quite a few dresses in anticipation of how busy prom season will be. We have hundreds of dresses on the rack to choose from,” Williams said.
