Rochester food pantry feels impact of supply chain crisis, rising inflation

A Rochester food pantry says their organization and the people they serve are feeling the impact of the supply chain crisis and inflation.

“What was people living on a fixed income, food stamp, those types of things the $200 and some change they were receiving a month isn’t going as far,” said Dimitri House Executive Director Laurie Prizel, according to News10 NBC.

Prizel says partner food banks like Foodlink are experiencing high costs due to supply chain issues as well. She is hoping community donations and wise money practices will help Dimitri House get through this difficult time.
