Elkhart company upgrading Ohio factory | Business

An Indiana manufacturing supplying the recreation and transportation industries is investing $1.5 million in new equipment and create 40 jobs at its Payne, Ohio, factory.

Elkhart-based parent company Lippert Components Inc. is installing what officials described as a cutting-edge digital printer and two glass fabrication cut and edge lines at Taylor Made.

The glass plant has been using a silk-screening process, which will be phased out over the next two months, officials said today in a news release.

Taylor Made makes glass products and window systems for the marine, construction, agricultural and sport utility markets.
