PATCHOGUE, NY – A group of six people robbed a Patchogue department store at knifepoint earlier this week, according to Suffolk Police.
The incident was reported Monday at the Burlington Coat Factory on 196 E Main Street at 9:53 p.m.
The group was seen stole clothing and other merchandise from the store, police said. When they were confronted by an employee, one of the people pointed a knife at the employee before fleeing.
No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
