Congratulations to KLER’s Maniac and Spartan Pizza Factory Player of the Game winners from Friday night’s Battle of the 6C: Kristen McCarthy, Abby Brown, Bodey Howell and Parker Brown!
McCarthy played a fantastic game for the Maniacs, showing off her mid-range jumper with a stretch of buckets in the second quarter, then finishing strong in the fourth, adding one from downtown, putting up 13 points total.
For the Spartans, on an evening where they struggled to score, Abby Brown provided the steadying hand, leading the way for Timberline with five points, including a three-ball.
It was a slow start in the nightcap for the Maniacs, but coming off the bench, Bodey Howell provided that needed spark for Orofino with 13 points in the first half, finishing with 17, coming up with some huge offensive rebounds and put-backs to help Orofino pull away.
Parker Brown had an exceptional all-around night for Timberline, doing everything he could to keep the Spartans in the game, knocking down seven 3’s on his way to a game-high 27 points!
