The Webb County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office is inviting the community to sign up for the annual Angel of Hope Posada En El Barrio Christmas program.

The Webb County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office is getting ready to host its annual Angel of Hope Posada En El Barrio Christmas program.
“We’re asking for those in need of assistance this Christmas holiday to come to our office and sign up in person to be considered as a recipient of our Angel of Hope gift distribution,” said Deputy Mario Reyes.
Officials are targeting children ages 6 to 10 years old. There is a set limit of gifts to be distributed. Those wanting to participate can sign up between Dec. 6 and Dec. 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Constable’s Office on 1110 Victoria St. Suite 102.
“Those who wish to be added to the distribution list must sign up in person and must be able to provide proof of residency within Webb County. You will need a government-issued picture identification and a utility bill,” Reyes said. “If selected you will need to go in person to pick up instructions on Monday, Dec. 13 at our office.”
Reyes added, “We’d like to thank all our generous donors, community partners and volunteers for all their hard work and help.”
