One of the priorities of the Ministry of Defense is to build an effective procurement system. To do this, the Ministry of Defense will create a new structure.

“One of the priority measures is to build an effective transparent procurement system. We plan to create an analogue of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency in the Ministry of Defense. Structurally, it will contain a department that will procure goods, works and services for defense purposes and a department that will be responsible for logistics – food, fuel, clothing and more,” Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said during an hour of questions to the Government in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As reported, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov says that he is ready to report to the Verkhovna Rada on the targeted use of military funds after a special audit is conducted.
