Southwest China ships fresh fruits to Singapore

A freight plane carrying citrus fruits left Chongqing Municipality in southwestern China on Friday for Singapore. The load includes 300 kg of fresh citrus fruits from Chongqing’s Zhongxian County under the trademark “Zhong Orange.”

The shipment is supposed to arrive within three days, faster than standard land-sea transit by eleven days. The first citrus fruit shipped from Chongqing to Singapore was delivered through the New International Land-Sea Trade Passageway “Zhong Orange” last year.

More than 2,000 tons of these fruits have already been shipped to Singapore as well as other B&R nations and zones, and a frequent export process was already recognized.
